E40D Torque Converter Nut Removal
Hey Y'all.
1994 F150 XL 4x4 4.9l Automatic E40D
I'm trying to pull the engine out to clean it up and repair some gaskets/an engine mount (just repair them with it attached, no sense in pulling it, jinx you owe me a coke) and I got 3 out 4 of the nuts behind the dust cover of the trans loosened. Yet, the 4th is almosted rounded. A 9/16 will fit on it snug but just slips, as does a 12 point. Any idea how to get this nut off without damaged the stud or plate?
