74 factory AC

I am in the middle of re-installation of factory air on my truck. The prior owner removed everything so I have been acquiring parts to replace the system. I have parts from 2 different years and I have a question on how the expansion valve bulb is clamped to the low pressure side. The evaporator coil I am using has 0 ring fittings, the low pressure side tubing is very large. I think it is a #10 size. Can someone post a picture of the expansion valve area? I have searched but have not found a picture yet. Also how about an overall of A/C hose routing so I can route them correctly?
Thanks

Does this look correct?

Mine is a mix of 1973 and 1979 parts, '73 controls and heater core, but remainder was taken from a '79. I hope it helps. Chart is labeled '78 Bronco, but looks right from here.

Last two pics are just some I saved from somewhere, might shed a light. I think what "OP" is asking is under a wrap of insulating material in the chart and on my truck.

Pardon the pine needles ... this was a couple-few years ago. Yes, I run an air filter too.

Ok, next question,
In the picture above the low side hose fitting is i believe a No. 12 male o-ring fitting. It's huge, What is the best way to convert this to the more common fitting size (like on the Sanden compressor) think is a
No.10?
I am installing a Sanden compressor.

When I did the Sanden conversion I had new hoses made. They used new fittings on the compressor end and on the drier and evaporator ends the shop cut the original ends off the old hoses and braised them to new hose fittings. This is a common repair when the hoses have "weird" ends on them.

Original Air has a Sanden conversion kit that takes care of all this and the price is reasonable. if you don't want the whole kit they might sell you just the parts you need.

Or as others have said just get custom hoses made up if you can find the correct ends. replace the expansion valve and cover it with tacky tape as well.
