Almost sounds like they are getting ruined during install. Seems odd you had so many fail, I have never heard of this.

There are lots of excellent suggestions in this thread for improving the way standpipes are installed. Posting where your standpipes have been purchased would be a good start.

Then you would greatly improve your chances of finding a solution if you would specifically describe how you have installed the standpipes (and include a list the things suggested in this thread that you have already tried).

EDIT - and no response/update from Cheevo. Very unfortunate ...........
