IT'S AUGUST...SUMMER IS HALF OVER
You like the Hair pic? I don't post pics of me ever lol
Rod see my above post, I think we were posting at the same time.
Looks good to me and the good part of short hair, it will make any corrections on it's own in about a month. I go in for a cut and Isaac always ask "What do you way done?" and I say short! It will grow back at this point! LOL
I guess it is not any different then any other biz, order supplies, keep 6 employees in line (my Navy & Wife training will help with that HAHAHA)"I would say you are well qualified to wrangle half a dozen barflies! LOL
Have a great day. I need to see some other states and then get my Behind in gear!"

It came out ok, I'm not picky.. once you see the cut you will know why I am not picky LOL, I'll post on the bottom
No nap for you today Ken

Pretty hazy out today but that's fine by the hens, they not happy about full sun .
The Bar Manager job emailed me back. They must not have had ANYONE apply as I have an interview Monday night

Good morning Lin...don't bet against a nap this afternoon...I'm pretty resourceful when it comes to that.
We have a bit of the haze you're referring to...not too bad though...a good amount of sun right now. Hair color looks good...you know what they say..."I'd stop for a blonde or a brunette and back up 50 yards for a red head."
I thought you weren't interested in a bar job??? Something interim until you find what you want??? By the way...your connection failed.

What, is someone's baseball world being turned up side down?
Ken I always step lightly and watch where I step around here and I do the same on the Rod-A-Rosa to. Never know what you might step in either place!
Well I see the shopping list and slaw recipe but where does the most important part fit in - Ice Cream!!
Lin what is on the schedule for the day? Herding the hens?
We put in enough hay to top off the barn and straw for winter bedding yesterday. Becky came back from the barn after that with another tiny butt nugget! so one of the new hens must be starting lay cackle berries.
Also last night I saw more Elderberries ripe so I will process them today.
Tim how goes it out west? Smoke and fires clearing out?

It fills you up more too !
As I always say...if you're not 15 minutes...you're late.
I checked with a few people these guys did jobs for...all spoke very highly of the experience from the appointment call to the installation. The only thing I haven't experienced is the last part...and...that's run by family as well. They have 5 separate installation crews...all run by sons or nephews. Interestingly...I know a guy they did work for...he and his wife were customers of mine. They owned an old Victorian mansion on High Street in town with a large carriage house in the back. The previous owners had carved the 2 buildings into 11 apartments. They had Window World replace all the windows..,72 in the carriage house...70 in the main house...just under $100,000. They were absolutely thrilled with the work.

I generally have one a day...chronically low protein due to the ESRD...I'm always close to my goal...but...rarely hit it. Bananas are absolutely verboten on my diet...no way...no how.

Oh yes I should have known about the bananas, sorry, they just go well with chocolate... but just blended frozen is good too !
I ha never heard about the Red head thing... other then the Temper, which I am long over but in my youth, yup I had a testy one.
No I was not thrilled with the Bar job but yes if it fills me in for now I am ok with that.
Got to find a house fast so I can find better work closer to it.
Lin: It surely is RED ! Where did you do your Navy time ?
Filled the gas tank in the Soobie this afternoon...$1.64 a gallon with my Stop & Shop card.
17.1 gallons in an 18.2 gallon tank.
The car is getting a solid 28 MPG in mostly around town driving...better than my much smaller Focus was...the Outback is about 6" wider...almost 2' longer...and...just over 1100 pounds heavier. The technology to get that MPG is amazing. Very happy with my purchase...CARVANA is selling virtually the same car right now for $7700 MORE than what I paid 5 months ago.

Lin...my father was in the USN...WWII...Machinist Mate 3...served mostly in the Pacific on the USS Massey and USS Robert I Paine. Enlisted at 17 years old and was in for about 2 1/2 years...never saw any combat though. The Massey was a Sumner Class destroyer...the Paine was a Buckley Class destroyer escort.

In high school...I dated a red head...really more auburn than the red you've got...boy...did she have a temper.
She passed away about 5 years ago from lung cancer...in her younger days she was a smoker.
Tough time to be looking at houses...prices are stoooooooopiddddddd...virtually everything is selling for way over asking...inventories are at an all time low. One house locally sold in 7 days...all cash deal...asking price was $500,000...closing price was $620,000!!!
Good luck!!!
Everything is backed up due to the COVID 19 shut downs from last year. It took 5 weeks before the guy could make it for a presentation. He was a bit disappointed that I didn't sign then and there...but...by playing it my way...he not only got my business...but...my neighbors as well. 18 windows instead of 9. We checked out the Renewal line on the inter-web...after talking with a couple of folks who had them done...just way too expensive for us. They're more for higher end properties. BIG D got a quote for his house and I believe it was in the area of $40,000 +/-...about 17 windows if I remember correctly. My father replaced his windows about 15 years ago...15 windows for $4700...with grids.
