Wiring is correct and functional, I know fan is working at when engine temp hits 207, towed with it last weekend and engine cooled properly. At idle FSS is 500-550, does not increase when A/C is on at idle.

You can do the blue wire mod. That puts ground to your fan through a toggle switch. You can activate your fan at will at idle. Increases the air flow under the hood.
I had the diagram and specs on ac clutch but can't seem to find it. Many files spread through cell and laptop. I'm unorganized comparatively. Will keep looking. I think Jack is the one that posted it, when I copied.

The PCM won't engage the fan to high speed until the AC high side pressure switch makes. Once the pressure drops the switch disengages and the goes back to normal operation. If the fan is working fine otherwise it could be an issue with that high-pressure switch or the wiring to it.

Might want to check that before taking the fan back apart.

At idle FSS gets down to 380. Hold accelerator at 2000 and it jumped to 1300. FSS reported back to 430, engine not completely warm.

Where is the high pressure switch located? I see the low pressure switch (?) on the accumulator/drier.

It's the same switch, a Dual Function Pressure Switch.

There is one by the compressor 8C3Z-19D594-A and the one on the accumulator is F6RZ-19E561-AA (Discontinued).

The one by the compressor appears to be the one that controls the fan speed.

Yes, would be on the high side of the system between the compressor & condenser. The accumulator switch is on the low side.

From my past A/C experience I knew there had to be a high side sensor, just couldn't find it.

I am trying to locate one closeby.

Well pardon me. Is the pressure switch different between the Fseries and Eseries? I ask because my wiring diagram shows the Dual Function switch mounted on the accumulator on my bus. But, I've also read of a "cycling switch" somewhere in the system and asked if anyone knew it's location in my AC thread. I've also read of a sensor or switch on the back of the compressor and assumed in was in the coolant line and separate from the field coil and its wiring (I'm tracking a loss of voltage for now). Anyone know if I have two electronic pressure switches or just the one mounted on the accumulater? Or am I just confusing terminology between electrical switches and hydraulic switches?

We all are learners on this stuff.

The high pressure sensor (I ordered) has 4 pins and is in the high pressure line behind the compressor. Accumulators are on the low pressure side.

My question is, do you have to drain system and recharge to replace senser?

Vans, who the hell knows.

The A/C cycling switch is mounted on the accumulator/drier and is a single circuit.

The dual-function high-pressure switch is mounted on the manifold at the compressor. The two functions are to kick off the A/C compressor if the pressure is too high, and to control the fan as well.

Replacement of either does not require removing the freon.

The vans do not have the high-pressure switch mounted in the same location, it's on the high-pressure line. It also should not need to be evac'd.

No you should not need to. It has a ball sealing check valve when you unscrew the switch it should seal. Atleast the last one I did was like that.

Key word is "Should".

Want to have a fun way to put yourself to sleep? Here is a batch of PDFs to help you do just that.

FTE dropped one of the files I was uploading and I am not sure what one is was. If you see anything
you need ask and I can see what I have.

Happy dreaming.
