I got home, yanked the R/F tire off, got the inner fender out and there was the switch. Took all of 3 minutes to replace it, put the inner fender back in, had to take the battery out so I could get the vacuum canister in properly, reinstalled battery, replaced missing fasteners (from when the compressor was replaced, reinstalled wheel and started it up.
Fan speed was 400-500 range, backed it out of the garage, picked up my tools and washed off bird junk. while washing I heard the fan speed up, was at 850. The A/C stayed cold, not as cold as my Fusions but better when at idle.
I think the fan is OK. We are towing in the mountains this weekend so it better be
OP -- darn shame you went thru all of that to replace that sensor/switch --- it's accessible if you pull the battery, pull the CAC tube.
Also, that was heavy shrapnel on your orifice tube and I'd bet there's more of it throughout your system --- a some point you may want to flush the evap, lines, replace the condenser (can't flush the condenser).
