I did not flush the brake fluid but had to replace some of the fluid that spilled out of the reservoir when I compressed the calipers. I’m working on getting a code reader. The one I have does not identify the problem with ABS
I had a weird incident...my ABS light came on after doing some engine work. Pedal was bouncy like something was pushing back and ABS light told me something was up.... figured I would deal with it next day I had off. I noticed my vacuum caps were rotten where the hubs got their locking pressure, so I capped them as a maintenance thing. Went to start truck to pull code and no code.....brakes were normal. I didnt touch anything brake related while working.
Not sure if that's what the issue was or how that would affect brakes, but it was the damndest thing.
