i was just driving around today and some jerk wasnt paying attention and almost hit me when merging into my lane... i had to slam on my brakes and after i let off i noticed the amber (ABS) light come on... what does this mean and how serious is this?

 

if the truck is a '96 or newer, you can use a code scanner to pull the ABS codes.

 

Check the brake fluid level.

 

Hi all, new here. I had a similar thing happen with my 98. All it needed was some brake fluid.
