Yeah, an alignment is necessary when you mess with the front end geometry on a vehicle. Who would have thought ??

I have been towing with a leveled 2001 F-350 with air bags for many years. I finally traded it in on a new truck. (Dealer actually gave me more on trade in because I ruined it !)

Took my first towing trip with my new, stock 2021 F-350 on Friday and my initial thougts are that I can’t wait to “ruin” this truck too. Leveling is a non issue when towing if you have air bags and I miss my bags!

I miss that little bit off fine tuning the air bags gives you when towing and I also the ability to raise and lower the back of the truck when hitching and unhitching.

There seems to be two different stances, styles, looks, whatever you want to call it, being lumped into "leveled". The look that most likely started from pre runner trucks is not leveled, but actually nose high or rear low, depending on how you look at it. I see quite a few trucks with full lift kits sporting that reverse raked look.
Not quite sure how that gets conflated with a leveling kit, where the goal is to simply level the stance, not bring the front up higher than the rear.

I leveled my 2019 F-350 CCLB and love it. I hook up my 30” TT and put firewood, coolers full of beer and other stuff, Camping gear, misc crap in the bed and my truck is perfectly level even when the trailer is full of my wife’s crap. Towed 3,000 miles this summer and I love the Carli suspension with fox 2.0 shocks and beefy track bar. I put Toyo Open Country 295/65 20’s on and couldn’t be happier.

I figure if i get a 5th wheel I would air bag it or just buy a dually but no plans for that. I haul crap all the time, tow modest trailers for work not a huge work horse but it gets it fair share of workouts.

I bought an f-350 because why the hell not, I got 16K off the sticker in March of 2019.

To each his own and do whatever you want, I enjoy seeing outrageous lifted trucks, crazy modifications but not for me.

If you haven't decided on an air bag kit for the new truck yet, you might consider our HP10384 (2WD) or HP10401 (4WD) kits available for the 2021 F-350. If you want some in-cab control of your bags, but don't want to mount any gauges or run any lines, we also have wireless (from your phone) control solutions - HP10327 is on-demand with an integrated compressor, and HP10325 can be added to a system with existing air or you want a small tank for other air accessories (like an air/train horn). An HP10406 kit includes the HP10325 with a separate compressor & 0.5 gallon tank. The wireless options have been really popular lately, since a lot of people are reluctant to modify the interior of their new truck.

Should you also decide to add a leveling kit, our HP10294 kit has the 2021 trucks covered..
