As I’m really looking it over, like powder coating, I’m finding where the galvanizing could go. Overall I’d do it again, but it would be tempting to remove rivets, get all the pieces coated, and then bolt it all together.
I'm trying to pick between galvanized or painted. I've powder coated a couple of motorcycle frames, but I'm looking for a tougher coating for the truck chassis.
ok I’m looking for a source to have a frame dipped it’s already blasted and ready to go
Can I get contact info for where you had it done
best way is to lookup the American Galvanizers Association and start calling. There are a lot of places that do galvanizing. Not all will dip frames. I found a couple in Alabama that will. Also see if they will dip loose pieces too.
Damn do you work for the government - I just was looking for who you had dip your frame….
but I guess that’s too tough of a question
Geez man. When I bought the TDK Jeep frame in 2015, shipping was $500 and galvanizing option was $400. If you are going to ship your frame to have it done wherever SVandal had it done that could be thousands of dollars.
