I have an 04 f350 6.0. Stock besides exhaust, intake, tune. Had a problem running down the highway. At about 60. Pulled over a bunch of times to reprime truck and got it home. Pulled the bed and cleaned out the pickup tube and screen in tank. Had a bunch of crap stuck in the tube where the fuel line connector is. Ran great the rest of the day and next till that night. Was driving home, doing between 70 - 80 getting on it at times. Stopped at a light and it was running rough. Drove home and parked it. Now I can start it, try to put it in drive or reverse with almost no throttle and stalls at times. Looked at codes, cylinders 1 and 3 keep coming up. Had the whole passenger side replace recently. With harness (new-used). Ficm shows 48.7 with meter when KOEF and running. At a lose of where to look. Help
Have you checked your fuel pressure? It sounds like a fuel supply problem since you said it cleared up after clear the pick up tube. Also, did you inspect the foot valve in the tank while you were there? Do you have less than a 1/4 tank of fuel when this happens?

Haven't check fuel pressure yet. Tank sits about half tank of right now. Not sure exactly what foot valve is.
Not stock, with exhaust, intake upgrade?
Tune- what kind?
What does it mean to reprime truck?
Pic up tube and screen- was Pic up foot intact?
Did you replace fuel filters?
What is your fuel pressure at crank and when running?

stock meaning no engine modifications. Tune won't matter. Removed it and still runs rough. Pick up tube meaning shower head at the bottom of pick up was replaced and clean. Filters were changed same day pick up and shower head replacement was done. Don't have a way of testing fuel pressure yet.
You had all the odd side injectors replaced? Were did you get them? Why did you have them replaced?
A diesel shop replaced 1, 5, 7 with Alliant injectors because they were bad when the engine got to running temp. I replaced 3 with Motorcraft after I kept getting a code for 3 and running bad
Might as well plan to have the fuel pressure looked at. Low fuel pressure will ruin injectors. Wonder why the "diesel shop" didn't know that ...............
Ford can run a test to simulate WOT conditions for you to see if the fuel pressure is low.
I realize you had crud in the tank and that was probably the low pressure issue that took out the injector(s), but I'm sure that you really don't want to keep replacing injectors. Lots of different things can cause low pressure, that's why you (everyone) need a continuous pressure gauge on the fuel.
Agreed, fuel pressure is extremely important! Let us know if you need gauges/gauge pod.
going to pick up a tester now
didn't have what I was looking for. Tired fuel filter and cleaned lines from tank to pump and pump itself. Same response. Put Truck in drive misfire gets worse and little to no throttle response. Only getting cylinder 1 contribution/balance fault
