Transmission Fluid
I have a 1993 F-250HD 7.3 N/A Diesel with the E4OD Auto Trans. It originally used MERCON Fluid. ......Lots of MERCON Part Numbers now.....What is the correct, Ford recommended Trans. Fluid for my Truck?

Mobil 1 full synthetic ATF that's Mercon V spec has been working well in my truck. I've been changing it between 50-60k miles. Now at 323k miles and just keeps going.
I recognize it's more than likely the fact that I change it at all, and not the fluid brand itself, that is aiding the longevity.
