Transmission Fluid?
IS straight mercon trans fluid ok for the e40d trans, and how about the 4r100 or should that strickly be mercon 5?

The 4R100 must be straight MERCON. NO MERCON V allowed in a 4R100

Transmission Fluid?
The same for the E4OD. MERCON, not MERCON V, and not a fluid that has both MERCON and MERCON V ratings.
