Keyless receiver module issues.
Can anyone tell me how to test the Keyless Receiver Module and its location. I have a 2007 F150 STX Special Edition with a 5.4 3V Triton motor, its a super cab with all 4 doors having electric windows. My new FOB wouldn't work from a distance further than 5 ft. So I bought another pack of 2 and was able to enter programming cycle and program 2 new FOBS and put brand new energizer batteries in both and they won't work past 5 feet. Charging system and truck battery operating as they should be.

i dont know, but the NEWER trucks have an antenna to extend range. It is mounted to the top of the glove box... see page 13 here
