1991 Silver Eagle fuel trouble
Hello, I am looking for some help! I have a 1991 Silver Eagle motorhome with the John Deere chassis and Ford power. I am running a 460 with a carb. I drove the ship about one hundred miles and she started running out of fuel to carb. Yes the 100 gallon fuel tank was full. I assumed I had a fuel blockage or fuel pump issue. Unfortunately that is not the case.
3 new batteries and 3 new selinodes and she still does the same thing. Also new fuel filter. the motor starts right up the dies after burning fuel out of the fuel line. Not sure if I have a ECU issue or a sensor problem? I ran a hot wire directly to the fuel pump to get her home and it ran fine.
Any way before I hook up a toggle switch to the fuel pump I was wondering if you guys could HELP!!!!!!
