I am currently having a weird issue with my 2001 Ford Excursion.
See, when I go to start up the truck initially for the day, I will turn the ignition over and it will take like a good 5 seconds to successfully turn over and start the engine. Then for the rest of the day, it will start up normally.
The thing is this problem occurs very randomly, like 1 out of 3 initial startups will be like this. I believe it might be a problem with the glow plugs, but I am unsure so i would like some thought from yall.
Everything else is good, alternator is good, fuel pump is new, batteries and cables are good.
