Accessory Fuse for Light Controller
This is my first post on FTE. I have a 2000 F-250 Super Duty XLT. It is a Super Cab with the 7.3L PowerStroke. I am wanting to install some lights (light bar, fog lights, truck bed lights, and rear work lights). I am wanting to wire them to a light controller I am going to mount in the cab since it doesn't have uplifter switches. I feel confident wiring the controller power to a battery, but there is an additional wire which needs to run to an accessory wire/fuse. This prevents the lights on the controller from staying on all the time. I was wondering, is there something in the engine compartment fuse box I can tap this wire into? Or, do I need to run it to some wire/fuse in the cab? I feel confident in everything except this one detail. Any suggestions and/or input would be greatly appreciated.
