When removing the dome light there are two wires, black and green. I've traced the black wire to fuse number 14, the green wire, which is for the map lights(courtesy lamps) has no power. According to the
manual fuse 4 is for the courtesy lights and cargo lights. When I pull fuse 4 the dome light again goes out, I could here a rely close when it's pulled as well, assuming this relay controls the cargo lamps. Anyone know which fuse controls the green wire? My map lights are not working, the dome does but the maps don't.
I would have tried a search but that illusive SEARCH link is gone again, ah technology!
Thanks in advance
Doug I wish i could help. In fact, I've been staring at the darn schematics for about a half and hour. The only way that I've seen ot test the circuit will require you to pull one of the main connectors from the back of the fuse box (Central Junction Box) and hook a tester in series.
Having worked back there, I can tell you that it is a pain if you got big hands...
It appears that the green wire you describe goes directly to the back of the CJB to pin #32.
