May take 100 miles to get the air out of the system.

$195 an injector will only be new to you, not a new injector unfortunately.

Yeah I figure that. It's actually $175. They also sonic clean and test them. Which is more than I can do from my house. All I'm capable doing is resistance test and buzz test.

Definitely cheaper than last time I bought some a couples years back. No core charge? I bought your deluxe rebuild kit from you and had already rebuilt them. But as we see 👀 this beast is still being difficult. LOL I know eventually I'll have to do a valve job on it and probably rings. But will need a second vehicle first. Plus figure out if can do without pulling the engine.

Not sure why you think you’ll need to rebuild the engine. You just need injectors. The junk you bought may not be any different than the shop recommended to you. They are just doing what you already did and then performing a sub-par ‘test’.

Get the Bitterroot remans and be done with these problems already.

‘Replace (4) injectors and go from there’ is weak advice too. I wouldn’t put much stock in what they said because of that.

Well wasn't going to do an engine rebuild tomorrow, this is a future project.. As for getting injectors from Bitterroot, that's an idea. But won't happen in the next week or so. Got to get a couple checks in the bank first. As for the "junk" you refer to, when you don't have the money to purchase top of the line parts you do what you can to address the issues to keep your vehicle on the road. I had all ready bought the injector rebuild kit from Bitterroot and well that didn't fix my issue but allowed me to continue to drive. As I stated I'm not getting any current faults, just a slight engine vibration from an injector or two missing out.

As I've said I'm just confused because I've read several threads with others that have had the similar issues. But they spoke of loss of power, stalling and sorts. I don't any of those issues except slight vibration at idle and vibration at highway speeds..

And what happens when I do purchase the injectors and I still have issues?

Unable to send in my current injectors that are in my truck due to this is my only mode of transportation. I do have an old set sitting around, but they are ummm in bad shape.

I've seen much worse. As long as there is no damage, they look fine from here.

So how does the core work? Send mine in first then you send set I purchase or I purchase then send back mine? But as I stated I currently don't have that type of money sitting around since I just got called back to work after being laid off for a year.
