x3, I installed the BD kit so I can control it and also make it idle higher than 900-1,000 if need be.

So then no, it doesn't come with it from the factory.
Chevy and Ram both integrate it into the cruise control buttons, no need to wire anything in.
Right and it can be adjusted based on desired needs

I have a 2019 Gas F450. Is there a way to hook up one of the uupfitter switches to a high Idle resistor, or do I have to buy a kit..??
I have a pto and I would like to idle the engine up when in use.

Just out of curiosity about how long does it take for the 6.7 to start blowing warm air?
My 12 valve takes forever, even plugged in. Part of my deciding factor on which truck to go with is how quickly I'll be warm in the cold mornings!

Depends...Auto climate control starts blowing warm once coolant is ~130°F...just got to get in and start driving...

If it's been plugged in, pretty quick. Although remote start with a 1200 rpm resistor for 5 to 10 minutes doesn't hurt.

I can feel some warmth in just a few minutes in mine. But I do have the supplemental heater.
