I have the AIC box which I would like to get away from. What I am wondering is there a wire in the harness that plug into it that I could just wire to a switch to increase the idle to 12-1500rpm?
I only use it for warm up purposes. I would like to be able to turn the switch on at night. That way when I remote start it the idle will already be up.
If you have the factory remote start/keyless entry/vehicle security system you should be able to hook up the aux. control. Then you can remote start and remote idle up.
Thanks that is perfect. I wonder if that wire is in the AIC harness I already have it out.
I have an aftermarket remote start. Maybe I could use one of my aux outs on the remote unit to toggle the idle on and off. That would be neat but not exactly needed.
I have the SEIC wired to a switch on the dash and the aux. on the remote. Makes it real nice the next morning when you forget to flip that switch the night before. I can also use the switch when turning on my compressor to fill up, or to jump start or ? On the factory remote the aux has a 15 min timer or 10 min timer which works great, I have it set to 10 minutes.
