Attempted a ride Friday. Met up with the group I was going to ride with. It was around 0 and some of that light snow had fallen. I was 4 in the line so lots of snow dust. Bad judgment on me following too close, got into a quick whiteout and lost the trail for a second into a corner. Found a nice bolder. This was less than a mile into the ride. Was able to ride 4.5 miles back home.
fortunately the sled and I rode over the bolder and landed in the trail on our side. I got lucky and only bruised my left thumb and right wrist slightly. I think all the damage is in the s module because going over the bolder it peeled it back instead of pushing everything back

I think I have all the parts from Facebook marketplace. Picked up a s module and left a arm Saturday used. And hopefully get the rest from shipping midweek. Need to get bolts and rivets then tear it apart

Good morning Cory and Jim.

That sucks Jim. Glad it wasn't worse. I have to admit I have no idea what an "S module" is though.

So anybody else getting a goofy redirecting page when you refresh FTE? Sometimes it won't even bring me back to the page. It is doing it on my work computer, home and even on my phone so I know its website related.

it’s an aluminum section that bolts/rivets in front of the engine and the front suspension is bolted to it. If you do a search for skidoo do s module you’ll see pictures of it

Good morning Troy and the rest of the crew!

Yikes! That will leave a mark. Good thing you didn't hit a tree! Mason went snowmobiling and ended up coming back early on Sunday after his friend rolled his. I guess Mason came out of a tree line and he didn't see Mason right away and had to steer to avoid crash and rolled. No injuries but a good lesson for them to pay attention.
