Well Jim you are within factory spec so I don't see why it should be good. Good luck!
They are not OEM pistons/rings so expansion could be different. But I put 126 on it friday and 85 sunday with no issues. Compression warm is 145 and seemed to hold only drop to 142 or so waiting probably 30 seconds.

Good morning Jay. Guess you are a few miles from MN.
I checked it before my first ride when it was cold, after a few heat cycles the day before. It was 150 but didn't seem to hold it. Checked it yesterday cold got 150 but again still didn't seem to hold it. The checked it last night after getting back from the second ride. I let it sit for a little so it was luke warm and was at 145 but seemed to only drop a 2-3 psi then hold. haven't checked it cold since last night. The guy I go to for some sled work, shocks and rebuilt the top end the first time and has decades of experience said to check it warm.
the cylinders are cast iron. they were given a hone. the mag had a slight score. The guy I go to has decades of experience and said there would be hardly any noticeable reduction. And I agree because both get up to the same psi and act the same. It maybe that the ring gap when cold is enough to allow it to leak through and when warm the expansion closes it up to seal. I need to check my 05 to see how that one acts. May of just needed more time to seat in
Was it a Wiseco piston? The forged pistons expand differently than the cast pistons.
I'd run it HARD and see what happens.
I believe they are cast. I ran it hard for some bursts. I have about 210 miles combined from two rides. plus I did a few heat cycles on thursday before taking it out on friday.
