XLT models power door
hello I know it may be a silly question but I have a 02 f350 XLT power everything. Does all these with power lock have a FOB accessibility.
I dont have a key fob but If truck has the equipment install I would get one
How can one find out if it has equipment installed

If your truck has RKE installed, do this procedure. If the locks cycle (luck and unlock), then you have RKE and can get a fob. If the locks do not cycle, you do not have RKE.
Turn the key from the OFF position to RUN (not START) position eight times within 10 seconds with the eighth turn ending in the RUN position. The doors will lock, and then unlock, to confirm the vehicle is in programming mode.

If you don't have RKE, most automotive stereo shops can add it for you for a decent price. There are also kits you can buy online if you're inclined to do it yourself. Often these will include remote start, which is a great feature, since your profile says you have a 5.4 you don't need the higher-priced diesel kit.
