Aftermarekt power locks
When ever I use my keyless entry to unlock my truck, i get in and start it up, the truck automatically locks itself. When after driving, when I shut the truck off, it unlocks itself. Theres been many of times where I almost locked my self out of the truck since I would start it up in themorning and let it warm up...If i closed the door, i wouldve been screwed.
(yes i have a backup key, but sometimes i warm up the truck at work or leaving other places)

on my 2005 screw, you can not lock your keys in the truck because if the key is in the ignition and you hit the door locks they just unlock automatically.
the only way is to use the key fob from outside the truck with the doors closed.
is this not the same on yours?

also you can program out the feature that locks the truck when you start to drive.
i did this as i keep tools in the back seat and was very frustrated when id get somewhere and go to get a tool and the back door was locked.
its in your owners manual.
