Hi all. Never thought about this too much until now. Trying to nip things in the butt before it's too late. Truck starts and stops okay but been noticing a very loud screech sound immediately as the engine stops, kind of like a fan belt sound. I can't imagine the serpentine belt making this kind of sound. Don't know if I should be too worried. I think it's something I've just gotten use too. This happen to any of you? Any thoughts? Thanks.
Could it possibly be the ceramic bearings in the turbo going bad? Maybe open the hood and have someone shut off the engine as you try to isolate the location of the screech?
