Small form factor brake controller

Does anyone know of a small form factor or remote mount type aftermarket brake controller. I've got a 1978 that I sometimes tow a few thousand pound trailer with. I plan to put brakes on the trailer and need to get a brake controller but don't want to mount an ugly plastic box to my classic looking dash in my leg room.

For a radio I plan to switch to a unit like this that has a rocker panel sized control panel and the rest of the unit mounts under the dash out of sight.

Is there a brake controller that works similarly? Something that can tuck away and have a small control interface that could mount in a switch panel alongside some rocker switches? Something like this (but with the brain tucked away, this is just an oem switch):

The curt spectrum or the redarc tow pro elite are the ones you would want.

The redarc looks good. I like the Curt, but I don't think I want a bunch of colored led lights in my interior. I'd like to check out any others people can think of, but I'm thinking the redarc will meet my needs if there isn't a better one.

Just so you know, I use to only install my aftermarket Prodigy ii when I needed it. Pretty easy with plug on back and two philips screw that holds the frame for it. Just an idea if you don't plan to tow too much.

That's a possibility. I won't be towing much with my Bronco. Mostly I just want to upgrade so that when I need to tow my trailer around town I have the same hookups as my actual long range tow rig that is a 3/4 ton Suburban. In full camping setup the trailer is a bit heavier than the garbage runs and appliance hauling I do around town, but if I get brakes on it, I just want it all to hook up and work the same on both rigs.

Even with that though, I don't want to add and remove the controller. I hate the most common install location. Every vehicle I've ever been in with an aftermarket brake controller the horrible short owners have installed them to the right of the steering wheel on the lower dash, right in the space that my leg wants to occupy. I don't like drilling holes in my '79 dash to mount ugly plastic things, and I am also taller than average and don't want a big plastic lump in my way.

How about something like the Prodigy wireless brake controller? Just plug in cigarette lighter when using, nothing in cab, but box on trailer tongue.

That is a cool solution. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. It would make switching between rigs without controllers really easy.
