Hi all,
I have a 1963 f100 (4x2) with a 292 and I am looking into replacing the front leaf springs which are pretty well shot. My question is are there any options out there to get the front end leveled up a bit. I am thinking it needs like 1-1.5 inch lift. I see a lot of people lowering the trucks but not much on lifting. The parts manual appears to show the F250 springs as being the same length and thickness but having an extra spring in the pack. Has anyone tried using F250 springs on an F100?

Leafs are easy, your spring is over the axle so if you need the front up an inch, make a 1" spacer block
If you have the space to do it remove the springs and take them to shop that specializes in rebuilding/re-arching leaf springs. They should be able to do a custom arch much cheaper than new springs.
There are rubber bushings installed in the frame itself up front, the shop said they were a real pain in the you know what to get out for replacement. I just shrugged and wrote out the check. That's why I pay people, to do stuff like that, so I don't have to. Try to find a place that has everything altogether in a kit, to include U-bolts, shackles, leaf springs, nuts and bolts, bushings and hardware.
