Installed S&B 60 gal tank in my 2020 F350

I completed my installation yesterday of S&B 60 gallon tank.... I have yet to reprogram it for the new size... or fill the tank yet.

I had no issues with the fit or finish of the tank.

However, I did have to lower the tank back down a bit to free the front vent line. I got it pinched and plugged between a frame member and I am glad I caught it, else the tank will not fill properly. So if you are doing this install, be very aware of getting this hose out of the way before seating the tank.

My most difficult part was getting the factory fill and vent hoses off and then back on again.

I can recommend this tank, for those that are thinking of getting a larger tank.

I just ordered a 60 gallon from Bitteroot Diesel. This is for my 2020 F350 in preparation of driving the ALCAN highway in 2022

Nice. As soon as I can swing it, I'm gonna get one as well.

I had S&B 60 gallon tank installed and it's been a great mod. Highly recommend it for other 6.7L owners

I loved the 65 gallon Titan Tank I had in my 2015...was nice to tow +/- 600 miles and not worry about fuel or the prices every 200 miles. Let me plan fuel stops with Gas Buddy.

Were you able to install yourself or did you need an extra person? I plan to do this if mine ever gets delivered, and I planned to do it myself in my driveway.
Thanks for the tip; any additional tips/tricks?

Jasoncw - I did it myself in the garage. Key is to run it almost dry. I had about 3 gal left. Get a set of straps to help support and manipulate tank

Thanks Squirrel. I had to drop the tank in my Excursion (did it myself) to swap the hitch, so just seeing if there was anything additional to this swap. Although the Excursion tank is much more compact (cubical) rather than elongated, so it may be a bit more awkward to get it lifted in place.

MagicMtnDan - Coming from a 7.3 Excursion I'm used to doing about 65-70. I'm older and the F350 is bigger and heavier I'm content to be in the right lane doing 67. I just don't feel the need to a 10K # truck to be doing 75-80. That and my attention span....SQUIRREL......makes it risky.
