The gas tank in my 90 bronco has started to leak, and I was wondering if a smaller tank out of a f150 would fit. My fuel pump is noisy so I will use the one for the truck anyway. I would like to use a smaller tank because the stock tank hangs down to low, and $60 for a fill up is depressing.
no i dont think a tank from an f150 will cause they are long and wont be able to clear everything . 100 bucks at a parts store will get u a new aftermarket tank. ford dealer it is 500 for the same thing.
u r still better off jus going out and buying a stock replacement than trying to convert to a smaller tank. cause the filler neck might not line up right, need to mount new straps to hold it in place
