Looks like a few sloppy days coming around. Time to get the ingredients to make some Smores and/or hot chocolate.

Don't forget your coat and wet-boots.

Yeah, we got a decent little shot of snow yesterday here in Eastern KY.

I can't wait til April or so, so the snow isn't such an issue.

Happy Happy Hump Day Kentucky and Crew reporting. turning into a beautiful day on this side of the border. Plenty of sun that the Soothsayers and their crystal ball did not predict and 44°. They said in the mid 30's, what do they know. Hope Ma Nature is good to you today as well.
Looking at the above forecast you were like us. Had some white sheet every day for the last week. I did not amount to more than an inch but mostly a dusting.

We kept getting an inch at night, melted by mid-day. As someone who likes snow, I found it very frustrating.

I like a good 2 week cold snap of 25F and about 6-9" of snow. After that I'm done.

6"-9" is good. Deep enough for X-country skiing, sledding, etc. But not too deep to plow, shovel, or otherwise manage for most people.

You could also make one heck of a snow fort for epic snow-ball battles.

We got about an inch of snow here. I knew places east of us were going to get more. Wait till Sunday night! Up here they're predicting a low for -4, and a high of 15 for Monday. I thinks some snow is suppose to be associated with the temp drop. But it's suppose to be out of here by Wednesday.

We got about 2", but it stuck in the trees and gave such a good ground cover it looked like much more.

The low here Sunday night is only predicted to be 20, with a Monday high of 37. Maybe snow on Tuesday.

Latest forecast says it's not suppose to drop below 0 now, but it's suppose to stay below freezing all week next week.

I meant to ask, was this the Mountain Parkway?

They keep revising the forecast. It's going to get really cold next weekend. But not as cold as they predicted just last night. I wish someone would pay me to throw darts at a weather chart and a map.

Good Taco Tuesday morning Kentucky, Wesley, Ken, John and all the KY crew. Looks like the soothsayers defective crystal ball is predicting 4-8 for us on the western side of WV Wednesday in to late Thursday evening. It was to be clear, overcast and high 30's today. But we have had flurries and sleet for the last 3 hours.

What do they say for you with the front moving in tomorrow?

Wife and I will be home and no reason to go out the next 3 days. So we will watch the antics of the drivers on the hill out front as usual!

A chance of ice and freezing rain Wednesday an Wednesday night. A little snow Thursday morning and Thursday. Total ice maybe 0.1 - 0.4 inches and total snow of 1 - 2.5 inches. Not a lot of ice at once, not a lot of snow, but any snow on top of ice is typically a bad thing.
