Joyous Sunday morning Kentucky and Crew.
Hope everyone had a great week and sensational Saturday.
Some rain his side the border but most of what we will get starts about 1500 today. Looking at RADAR it looks like most of KY is wet.
But enjoy the day with Family, Friends, and with fun and good food!
Good Monday morning Kentucky and all the crew. Looks to be a nice Monday but cool. We are currently at the predicted high of 40° Rains have passed and we should have some sun to start the new week.
5 Labs it helps to dull my senses. FTE some, usually listening to a lot of music, anything to distract from the screens.
Everyone read for Turkey day? I was just texting with my wife about finalizing our menu for Thursday, Just the three of us on Thursday, Saturday is the big family gathering.
I think my wife and I have finalized our small family meal for turkey day.
Spiral sliced ham, scalloped potatoes, mac and cheese, corn or peas, rolls and most likely a monster cookie bake or loaded cookie. haven't figured the name out yet saw on FB. Might do a root veggie broil... that is up in the air as my son hasn't gotten up to that level of taste palette yet. Iced Tea, maybe some soda. Afterwards might partake of an adult beverage.
When we do the bigger family meal there will be turkey and ham, green beans casserole, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole and a bunch of other items. Funny thing is... my wife will make the sweet potato casserole but only for the bigger family meal. I am the only one to eat it at our house. but no one but my wife can make it from her family. Every once in a while she will make a small casserole for me.
What about you?
I have no idea what's cooking this weekend other than work for me. Working today and Friday for sure, I did see a small turkey in the fridge downstairs the other day, so that will get cooked tomorrow.
Good morning the Day after the Great Grazing Kentucky and crew. Had a great day yesterday with family and a good friend. Ate way too much and today I waddle! LOL
Ryan, we to had a spiral ham, mashed taters, corn, beans, yams, and the likes.
Hope everyone is UK country is ready for the weekend and party time, at least until 2030! LOL
Today is cold and breezy this side the border. Hope Ma Nature is treating you better!
Joyous Sunday morning Kentucky and all the crew. How did KY fair this weekend in football or do they play today?
Cold and partly sunny day yesterday but was tolerable in the afternoon when the wind died down.
Today it mostly sunny and I have bright warm sun coming through the window, no breeze - yet and already 49°. That exceeds the predicted high.
I hope everyone had a great long weekend and are coming off your turkey induced tryptophan overload so you can make it to work tomorrow! LOL
safe to say they whooped Louisville's rear end. Great game. But Alabama with 4OT was a great game. But still not as good as the butt whooping Ohio St took.
We had our extended family meal Saturday. good food and good times. I am sitting here working on my document for work not tired at all at this time.
I'd be interested Wes. Sundays are best for me, but work can change that with just a phone call unfortunately. As far as a location, I would say Lexington, Paris, Mt Sterling, or Winchester would be the cities reasonably central.
