A picture or two would be valuable here......
Its not uncommon for a 21 year old vehicle to have some drips and seeps happening, but your issue could be something more serious that could affect the upcoming road trip, no way for us to know from your vague description.

is it dripping while it’s cold and parked? put newspaper under it when it’s parked for the night and see if it’s wet in the morning.

Otherwise, it’s normal in hot and cold weather to have condensation dripping when you start up the vehicle, so if you see drips after moving the car, it may be just condensation.

I have 140k The only thing different I did was run synthetic oil since they did not have synthetic blend on my last trip in Thanksgiving. That is driver side front by motor mount

Looks like it could be the oil cooler adapter gasket. I cant run full synthetic in my 6.8, it causes leaks that dont normally show to open up. Switching back to semi-synth may gradually make it stop seeping.

Hard to say, but if you go on your trip, I'd take some oil with you. I'm guessing you did check to see what it was that was on the ground? Oil and not water? You might take a socket and make sure the filter bracket is snug. Dont go crazy and break a bolt off before your trip, just make sure the bolt(s) are not backing out. I'm not sure what the torque requirement for that is.

My 04 V10 has 153K on it and I run full synthetic in it with no problems.

Thank you all. When I travel I always have oil with me . I did try to see if I can tighten the bold but they seemed already tight. I went to buy high mileage oil today just hate to waste new oil but I just remember I think I have Lucas oil in the gallon I will see if I do I might pour some to get the oil thickened. If I can't i will have to change the oil. But it's not dripping thanks god. Just my first oil leak in my excursion. I used to brag how my old truck was built so solid compare to new cars. It still has original water pump and dry under the engine
