Steering arms

I have three steering arms for the D44 with two styles. All four of the examples are factory Ford vintage 4x4 (Not later conversion).

First up is Red. 1960 F100
19B = Assembled February (B) 19, 1960.

The next one is my 2960 F250
14G = Assembled July (G) 14, 1960.

This next one is from a 1961 Stepside.

I have another with the slight spread bore so my guess is the very early ones were the square bore pattern changed somewhere between February and July 1960.

Byrd.Dog please post pics of what your working with.

Kinda tough to tell with all the welds, but it appears to match your second pic. You can see why I'm looking for a replacement! I know the guy who would've welded the thing back on & it really pisses me off that he didn't just get a replacement back when they were available & cheap. Sorry it took me so long to respond - I lost a family member to covid last week & have been kinda busy. Thanks for posting the photos!

So your shock is mounted in front of the axle? The steering arm is straight? Can you pan out to catch the assembly like my second photo? I will get bolt pattern measurements for you to compare next.

Do you think this one would work? https://torqueking.com/product/55203...4-front-axles/
It looks slightly different, but if the bolt patter were the same... Hole for the drag link might not be the same, but that can be reemed out fairly easily.

That’s definitely a good price! I would see if you could call and get measurements to compare or just buy it quickly since its not terribly expensive...
