So they replaced all the tinted window glass ????????????????
Hi Crotchety,
I know that was a tongue in cheek remark. I liked it. Of course I was referring to add on tint film.
Here is a White Leaf at the dealership with the dealer add on tint film. And another of my previous Gray Leaf without add on film. The tint film makes it difficult to see what’s around at night in unlit country roads.

Thanks for the reply....Actually I had no idea a new car would have an applied tint. I thought it would always be in the glass..

Add on tint film is very common in Florida.
This particular Nissan dealership immediately adds tint film, door edge guard tape and wheel locks to every car as soon as they get them. Then they tack on a $1,995 protection package fee on a sticker next to the Factory Window sticker to try to boost profits.

I will never understand why anyone would go do something to their vehicle that they know is illegal and any cop can easily see or hear it. The guy my niece is engaged to put load exhaust on his band new truck and got a fix it ticket a few days later. All he talked about at Christmas dinner is how bad the cops were for giving him a ticket. Not sure what part about he broke the law and most people don’t want to hear his truck from a mile away he doesn’t understand. So now the cop is bad for enforcing the law???

This is not directed at the tint, or the loud exhaust, opinions widely vary, mine included. It's called narcissism. They don't care how others are effected as they only see themselves. My dad called it "head up the a.. syndrome". You cannot change it or make it see the light of day.
I still dont understand why people put "exhausts" on pickup trucks period. It's a pickup truck not a Carrera.
Some aftermarket exhausts are less restrictive and can give a bump in HP/TQ. However, it doesn't have to be LOUD to get some additional performance.
I've been "that guy" with the not so quiet exhaust. I got tired of it and went back to a stock cat-back and paid a crap load of money to have some custom b-pipes made to account for the long tube headers I had put on. This experience is one reason why I like how quiet my 6.7L is and why I'll never modify the emissions.
How does my dark tint make me a narcissist? I prefer the heat protection, privacy, and the fact I don't need sunglasses when i'm in the truck. Worry about yourself, not how dark my tint is. You guys are upset about the tint, how about being upset at Pelosi and her desire to ban words like daughter and father?

As for myself I agree, I have no clue why tinting your windows would make you a narcist. I'm quoting you because I'm the only post that used that word. I can't for the life of me answer the question you posed. How ever I can answer my opinion of that delusional hack you speak of, she is upsetting to me.

Yeah, it's ridiculous. In my county the cops always get flack, either for stopping people for being overloaded(mostly commercial trucks), or issuing tickets for x, y, or z. My favorite thing to hear is "Don't cops have anything better to do than harass innocent people!" Here's my thing, don't you WANT them to not have anything better to do??? Cause that would mean that your county is actually pretty darn safe??? Plus the obvious it's the law... you broke it... so you're getting a ticket.

Even though I disagree with some traffic, misdemeanor, laws, how can you blame the police for enforcing them. I saw on that Providence R.I. show with that judge, after all's said and done both sides heard, before his ruling the judge looks at the defendant and goes, where you speeding, and the guy says your honor I was only going 2 miles an hour over the speed limit, the judge goes that means you were speeding. The guy didn't get it. You have to have a line somewhere right. If broken and you get caught who's fault is that............Like it or not can you imagine no enforcement at traffic and misdemeanor levels... But heh you might say well the cops have tint and speed all the time....yah whata you gonna do about it it's human nature, doesn't make it right. If your high school sweet heart was going through town @ speed and you were a cop and pulled her over she wouldn't get a ticket, and neither would your mother or sister. That's the way it is.
Surprisingly this thread is still going. The OP is taking a beating still.
Not completely but in a way yes. Received a good amount of backlash for posting this thread and my pictures. Have received both positive and negative private messages. If I offended anyone, I honestly don’t care at this point......
