I've swap the 6.0 in my truck, swapped fuel and oil filters. I tried to start it without doing any bleeding on the fuel lines. Guess what It's not starting.
I've seen many comments about just cycling the ignition key a few time up to 15 time to prime the fuel rails, seen other comments about loosening some bolts to let air out and even cranking the engine while at it.
What's the proper way to bleed the air from the 6.0 fuel system?
Thank you it did start. made a lots of smoke initially but now seem to run well. Will test further shortly.
On an other note, seem I have charging issue as the 2 new batteries seem to drain out. Will check the alternator and all connections to make sure charging system works properly.
