changing fuel filters
i have an 04 6.0. do i have to do anything special when changing the fuel filters?? or just change them and everything will be fine? i'm just not sure if i have to bleed air out or if the truck will run rough for a little while or something like that. thanks.

Go look at the Tech folder above. See the procedures for changing fuel filters. Turn ignition key to “ON” DO NOT START ENGINE three times for 30 seconds each with a wait of 15 seconds in between. This will charge the fuel system and move fuel through the pump and purge the air out.
Even if you were to run out of fuel, this is how to purge the system.

Check the "Read First..............Tech Folder............." in this forum and get the Here are the instructions for changing your fuel filters:. It is pretty easy. I put some aluminum foil on the frame in front of the HCFM when inserting the new filter to keep from getting dirt on the new filter and getting it in the system. It's a little cramped with the 4x4.
