I'm not up on all the programming changes Mark, any idea if the Excusions ever could have that program while not mentioned? It looks like limited to 2005+.
Mine is an 03 and I'm the original owner. Most maintenance at the dealer except for the last two oil changes.
i bought my 03 new and have seen deltas of 22* difference without an alarm [223* -245*]. I replaced the fan clutch and the oil cooler and still see pretty much the thing with a 13,000 lb rv in tow on a 5 or 6 mile 6 percent grade hill. When unloaded my deltas show a 3 to 10 degrees difference with much cooler temps.
The guidance target is only for empty at 60-65mph flat land. Vary from that, and the differential will increase.
I realize that and it will definitely go up with a load behind it, but i wish the EOT wouldn't go this high, but what do I know. I have to wonder where it will go when i put the motorcycle trailer behind the 5th wheel, which I can do in Tennessee.
As I have posted several times - I can be driving 80 into a headwind, or I can be pulling a trailer (I don't pull heavy ones though), and I am still at 10 degrees or less differential. I have an OEM oil cooler.
