Automatic Driver Side Window

I have a 2002 F 250 CC XLT and my drivers side window is somewhat quirky. It almost never goes all the way down when I click the power window button. It might go 2/3's of the way down and stop forcing me to hit the button again. However, after it has rained it seems to go down all the way on 1 touch of the button. Okay, I can believe that the moisture from the rain (yes, it's plausible) has caused it to slide better but it doesn't rain everyday so that's not a fix. Does anyone think that removing the interior panel and spraying Lithium grease on the window lift will help it long term? What might cause it to stop at 2/3's of the way down? Friction ??

older truck so it probably has a ton of crap in the window tracks, pull the door panel and have a look. a quick wipe and vac then some copious amounts of white lube.
