Power Outlet Ring on 2001 Excursion

Thought I'd send this out here because it might have common parts. Seems like ford cannot get me the right ring. I have the cigarette lighter/power outlet for the 2001 Excursion. This sits in the center console and is for the rear people who need power. My ring is broken so the outlet just hangs there. Is there any way to replace that ring? Ford cannot seem to come up with the right part other than the middle part is 15K040. Anyone can supply me the rest of the number? TIA

Wish I know why it is so difficult. Did send a PM to him. Hopefully he can find me the number that Ford cannot so I can order it or find something.

Most power needs anymore are for USB, if that's correct then I recommend going with a dual USB unit that replaces your regular lighter. I did it in my 01 limited and am very happy with it. Available at Amazon. It was $12.99

My Garmin GPS take a cigarette lighter. WTF!! No way to get a cord to do the USB thing.

OTOH, what is stated above would work BUT not what I was looking for. This is the center console facing the rear and would be used to charge a battery Jump Pack.

That all said, I have a power outlet in front and a cigarette lighter port so while converting the rear facing outlet isn't happening, I will be doing it for the FRONT one. And if the widgets upset that the dash cover is out and I am drilling, I can blame it on Excursion Gary for giving me a new idea for a front lighter upgrade.

I used this when I wired the power for my camper topper. Mounted the USB in a box on side of bed. Power thru cigarette lighter fuse, so I'd have power with ignition off.

I suppose I could do that and use the cigarette lighter for powering the GPS.

Hey Aklim, is there anyway you can reach out to me? I’m too new to send messages I have a question I’d like to ask about your excursion.
thanks
