Replacing my engine
Hey guys. I've got a 1985 F-150 with the 4.9 carbureted. The engine is shot and I've been having a hard time finding a cheap replacement from the same year range. Yet I can find all kinds of 88 and up. Can I put a fuel injected motor in and if so what will it take to keep it fuel injected, or can I use my carburetor and such and not have to buy a bunch of extra parts. What would that take and which would be better?

Thanks. I thought I'd asked that once but haven't gotten any emails from here letting me know anyone had answered other then the forest guy that didn't really tell me anything I didn't already know. The others that replied told me everything I need to know.
