Changed my oil uneventfully this AM. Started and ran it for 5 seconds, no leaks or check lights. Tried to start it 10 minutes later and it won't start. It sounds like the starter is engaging and disengaging. If I didn't drain the oil myself, I'd swear it was hyrolocked.
Checked for codes and there are 30 codes showing, none of which my reader can help with. WTF did I do?
Turns out that my first thought was correct. The batteries were too low to turn it over. I had never see or heard a vehicle that sounded like it did with low batteries.
No idea why those codes showed up, but they are gone now. Looks like new battery time but they are the originals.
