Fast Blinkers

2000 Excursion: Ok so my flashers flash normal speed but my blinkers are super fast. What can I do to slow the flashing speed down?

Maybe a little more info might help. First clearly define the difference between flashers and blinkers. Are there any LED replacement bulbs involved?

Sorry yes emergency flashers are normal. Left & Right turn signals are extremely fast. Taillights are stock but front headlights are out of 2006 with led amber bulbs for turn/parking lights
Also has 2015 Mirrors with turn signals

Its most likely then that LEDs are causing the rapid flash. The cure is to either replace the stock flasher unit with one designed for LEDs or add resisters to the LEDs to mimic regular incandescent bulbs.

Your current flasher depends on current draw. The less current the faster the system flashes. I converted my X to all LED lights except the instrument cluster. I changed the flasher to an LED unit. Be sure to get the correct unit. Just FYI, to change the flasher, you need to remove the radio. Look down and to the left. You will see two relay looking devices. The one on the right is the flasher.

EP-27 LED flasher fixed that problem....

I replaced the turn signal switch with a new one because the old one would not stay engaged and the dimmer was flickering back and forth between bright and dim.

New one dimmer works great but still at times catches and turns signal off before I even turn. Is there something else causing this?
