My 1997 7.3 has a check engine light that has been coming on and then going off intermittently. I had the codes read and there were 4 of them
P1280 (ICP out of range)
P0420 (EPS low)
P0236 (turbo boost sensor A performance)
P0237( turnpvo boost sensor A low circuit)
I have a TS 6 position switch installed, 3” DP. No other mods except a gutted cat. Any info would be appreciated.
From memory I believe all of these sensors share a common ground for their 5VDC reference. I would start by testing voltage to the ICP, IPR, and any other sensor it is calling out. Check your ground connections.for corrosion.
Sorry I can't provide more detailed info I don't have time to dig through the books but this should be a good start for troubleshooting.
