If the SES light came on, there are codes stored in the PCM. It sounds like your scanner can't see the codes. The free scans at the parts stores can't read our codes either.

I also agree... you will have to remove the valve covers and fix the loose connector...

Problem found, Thanks for all the replys. I tried to get codes with my $30 scanner but nothing. Went to a friend with a scanner that cost thousands. It allows to chatter the injectors to see if they are operating. Low and behold #5 is sticking. He is seeing more and more problems with the new fuel formulation which has had the luibricating properties removed. He suggests 4 oz of 2 stroke oil per 20 gallons in fuel. Or, a product meant to lube injectors. Never tranny fluid, it has a seal expander and can damage the injector.
