OBD II confusion
First time posting so be gentle.
I have a 96' F-250 XLT. I'm trying to buy a code reader. The reader plug in is under the hood against the drivers side firewall. The normal 16 pin connector doesn't plug in. What reader do I need?

OBDII confusion
Hello and welcome.
The 250’s and 350’s didn’t get OBDII until ‘97 with the new body style except California model. What you have is OBDI. Here is the scanner a lot of people use. It can also be found at local auto parts stores.
