I have replaced my headlight bulbs with the new led lights and they work perfect. Well I went ahead and invested in the rest of the exterior lighting....and ohh boy well all the led bulbs work during the day they work fine, the problems at night that when the headlights are engaged that the turn signals just don't flicker. I've tried some of the flasher fuses that are led compatible and still haven't had any luck. Does any one or has anyone here run into this situation with led lighting? Please I need some input. Thank you
For blinker bulbs, I believe you have to use a resistor in the line or replace your flasher with an LED compatible unit.
I was trying to get around having to place resistors on each bulb. So my question should have been has any e encountered my problem and were they able to resolve the issue with a different flasher. If so which one did they use

This is the one I'm using. Some flashers are too big for the fuse box. I have a 96 F350 7.5L.
thank you for that info although the one that worked for you didn't do the trick but they had another one EP52 and that one worked great now I can drive at night and use my directionals. Again thank you and tractor supply

What LED headlights did you go with? I've tried a few but have had horrible beam patterns and on't wanna **** people off. I mean, when brights are on I couldn't care less. lol.
Simple solution replace all lights with LED, but leave the blinkers alone. They don't burn much energy and doubt you will even notice any difference if you do change them. Done that on truck and on motorcycles.

On that note, if a simple flasher change solves the problem, why in the world would anyone go through the trouble of adding resistors and the like to the circuit? That is just crazy me thinks.

I put all LED's in my '91. I did install an electronic flasher to get around the flashing issue. No resistors inline either. I think there was an issue with the brake light switch having too little amperage from the led taillights, it'll throw an abs code, but it all still works. I just pulled the bulb out. I believe there is a work around that as well on this forum somewhere.
Some trucks like my 93 with an E4OD don't play well with LED tail lights. It wont allow the torque converter to lock up like it should in OD, LED turn signals with an electronic flasher work fine as long as it it front turn signals only. If your housings are not made for LED bulbs on your headlights, you are gonna glare people to death most likely,
