Amber corner lights?

Amber corner lights?
Do you have to have the amber corner lights? We have clear corner lights to put on but need to know if they need to have amber bulbs. I dont think they do but would rather ask then do something Ill get pulled over for. Thanks

In california you are supposed to have amber lenses in the front but as long as you have amber bulbs that flash amber most cops won't mess with you. I had them on my '01 for 2 years and no problems. Now I need to find something for my new Expo.

I'm from cali and I have clear corner lens and clear bulbs on my expy and I don't have problem with it. As long as you visible flashing bulbs on the front, cops won't mess with you. The only problem they have is when you have clear flasher on the back.

HI, I am a Military Police Officer in Southern California and this is right out of the California Vehicle Code and should be about standard for any state, but check to be sure.
CVC 24953(a) Any turn signal system used to give a signal of intention to turn right or left shall project a flashing WHITE or AMBER light visible to the front and a flashing RED or AMBER light visible to the rear.
