Chevy drama over. Picked it up earlier today. $923.64 total. Dodged a potential nuclear blast there. They drained both tanks, replaced the fuel filter, blew out the lines, replaced some seals, and added fuel treatment. I picked it up and stopped to get fuel. I was talking to a customer while I was fueling, not really paying attention to what I was doing. When I got off the phone I looked at the pump handle and it was black. The green one was hanging in the pump. I freaked for a minute then realized I was at the BP. Damn, talk about a heart test. Here's hoping for another trouble free 200k.
they've been doing that for a while. Black handle for diesel freaking idiots. They're screwing up a lot of folks doing that crap. Green handle for diesel. What's so hard about that?

No kidding. What if the electricians did that. "Oh, let's make the ground wire black on this one. They'll figure it out." Plumbers: "Hey Bill, lets have some fun. We'll make the left side cold in the master bath. Keep 'em guessing."

Or a boat ramp. I have literally asked, and received, permission from more than one person to back their trailer up for them. Some folks get too nervous when they are in front of a crowd.
I could set up a lawn chair and sit at a boat launch all day watching people try to load their boats. It’s one of my favourite places at the lake. I drop my wife off at the dock, she backs in, I drive the pontoon boat right into the trailer and we are gone. Less than 2min to load and clear the launch. People are amazed at our system.

Here we have yellow handles for diesel at some locations. Card lock handles are all black but the bigger pumps won’t fit gas vehicles at card locks. They changed the colouring a few years back and it can get confusing.

Found a pic of my old vehicles today showing my Excursion and '04 Vette. Loved that Excursion until the rear main seal went. Repair involved taking body off frame to repair. Traded it immediately and got more than I paid for it! Almost wished I kept it...
