Drove down to the shore tonight. Got in the door and it smelled like someone took a dump on the floor.... Walked around and the door to the refrigerator was actually hot to the touch. No ones been in here since November.
It was gross. Luckily anything in the freezer was bagged. Ice cream and stuff was left. A big slab of london broil... Butter...All trash. Some bread in the freezer was actually moldy. So it must have gone south a while ago.
Could have been worse. The door was actually hot. Not sure how that could be but I dont think a fire would be out of the question.I had a 12 pack of Smithwicks in there... all the way down I could just taste it... Parched as I walked in..
We had a thermometer in there. It was pinned way over the top temp of 85.
They like their beer warm over there in jolly old England...... but I dont think 100F is good.
I put one in the freezer out in the garage after turning that fridge back on... Took about an hour. Nice and cold now... but the bottle smells like the rotten crap in the fridge...
Dont care.... Im enjoying it anyway. just exhale while sipping...
$2,000.00 Kitchenaid. Lasted about 12 years.

Were usually down in March.... But this chinese flu made it not so important....
Bright and sunny for the next day or two... boats in... goin out in the AM...

Fabreeze... Candles... doors and windows open... Fans... threw 60 lbs of crap out.. luckily its garbage day...
But I still cant get the stink out of my head...

I can smell that rotten fridge through my computer. Gross. An assistant and I had to snowmobile into an old abandoned remote oil battery site a few years back and there was an old crew house on site. We went exploring and as soon as I saw the fridge I told the assistant not to open it. Nit wit opens the dang fridge and it was full of rotten food that was sitting for years. Melting in the summer and freezing in the winters. Luckily everything was frozen but the mould and smell was terrible but not as bad as you describe especially with the heat. I still can’t shake that smell.

As ForCal said, nice to have you pop in or come back. 🍺

Had some twilight zone stuff happen this morning. I’m at my duplex condo in the city so my neighbours driveways are pretty close together. Neighbours on either side of me attempted to back out of their driveways at the same time but both wanted to go in opposite directions. This resulted in them backing up bumper to bumper and they could not see each other because my Duty was in between them. One neighbour was dragging a garbage bag by her front bumper as she was backing up. They both saw each other at the last minute and slammed on the brakes. The lady dragging the garbage bag panicked and slammed it into drive and floored it which caused her to lose control. She ran over the garbage bag which exploded and drove up on 2 front lawns and came to rest about 5 feet from her neighbours house. The second neighbour was watching this in his mirror and forgot to put his vehicle in drive so he’s still in reverse and went to drive away. To his surprise, since he was still in reverse, he ended up on the garbage bag ladies lawn. It was like watching someone play lawn darts with SUVs. They both ended up driving away without saying a word. I got to rent this place out and get my **** back to the acreage. 😂

Thankfully they didn't hit your truck. If you want a free show hang out in a parking lot. No end to the talent show.

Or a boat ramp. I have literally asked, and received, permission from more than one person to back their trailer up for them. Some folks get too nervous when they are in front of a crowd.

He's 72 no big deal but can't back a trailer. So I'm driving his '16 CC dually KR with a 25' or so cattle trailer.
We're up Scag, put her in there partner.
Nothing like coming back with $160,000 worth of trucks on each side of you. No pressure

Chevy drama over. Picked it up earlier today. $923.64 total. Dodged a potential nuclear blast there. They drained both tanks, replaced the fuel filter, blew out the lines, replaced some seals, and added fuel treatment. I picked it up and stopped to get fuel. I was talking to a customer while I was fueling, not really paying attention to what I was doing. When I got off the phone I looked at the pump handle and it was black. The green one was hanging in the pump. I freaked for a minute then realized I was at the BP. Damn, talk about a heart test. Here's hoping for another trouble free 200k.
